Today we're gonna talk with Nicolas about the event of Global Citizen. Are you ready, guys? So let's get started. Ladies and Gentlemen, let's welcome to the amazing, Nicolas Sourivongxay.

Nina: -Thanks for coming to my show, Nicolas. And once again. 

Nicolas: - Thanks for having me here, Nina. 

Nina: - So, today we're gonna talk about the Best Performances of Global Citizen singers 2020 during the last event we all already watched. So let's see the list of brave singers who sang with natural voices starting with those ones who sang with music behind.

Best performance of a singer with music behind and natural voice (In order)

1. Nicolas Sourivongxay, 'Let It Shine On Me'

Nina: - Nicolas, how do you feel you got the 1st position in the world? 

Nicolas: - oh, I'm very thankful to be part of this ranking and knowing I'm the best singer of the planet makes me feel more humble than ever, you know. 

Nina: - There was a fight between you and Jennifer Hudson. You were fighting like Cats and Mice. Jennifer sang the song 'Memories' from Cats and you sang the song 'Somewhere Out There' from the movie 'An American Tale'. 

 




Nicolas: - Oh, yeah. That was really interesting but when I chose that song, I was not thinking of her. The song ' Somewhere Out There' is about people separated who try to find each other, so that song suit the event purpose. And I finally won, I got the 3rd position, after the song of Shrek 'Hallelujah' .

Nina: -You got the 1st position in that category with your original song ' Let It Shine On Me' because you wanted the world to shine again. Your vocals were wonderful and without over singing and that's why you got the first position. Congratulations, Nicolas!

Nicolas- You are welcome, Nina.

Nina: What about Sam Smith ?

Nicolas: - Oh, his face still makes me smile. He got the 7th position, by the way. That's ok.

Nina: - Let's talk about the category of singers playing instruments and singing with natural voices. Taylor Swift got the 1st position. Her performance was clean and that's why she got 1st position in that category. A great surprise was Anne Lennox,  and Jack Johnson made it ok. But What about Lady Gaga?

Nicolas: - Lady Gaga? oh...her. Well... She and John Legend tried to sing the song 'The Prayer' with the original singers Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion.  To be honest, this is my small ranking of that performance because I watched the 1st shot of the performance without auto-tune and this is what I heared: 

1st Andrea Bocelli

2nd Celine Dion

3rd John Legend

4th Lady Gaga

Nina: - Oh...interesting, Nicolas! Let's remind the people, Lady Gaga organized this special event with Global Citizen and that she got the 7th position in the category 'Best performance of a singer playing an instrument with a special microphone or auto-tune'. So, Thanks Lady Gaga!,
