World Tourism Day Concert 2023

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇬🇧The Divo Nicolas Sourivongxay wrote his song 'I Can Dance' thinking of a special place to dance free from pain and sorrow. The place is an imaginary place however, Nothing Hill sounds like Notting Hill, a popular place promoted by the movie Notting Hill starred by Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. Notting Hill is located in the district of west London, England. Let's listen to Nicolas with his original jazzy song called 'I Can Dance' from his album Let it Shine On Me'. The song is also available on music players in the instrumental version in his album 'Rockinstrumentals To Shine'.

🇺🇲 The next place is the state of Giorgia, The United States of America. The capital city is Atlanta well known for hosting the Summer Olympic Games in 1996. The song chosen was written by Hoagy Carmichael / Stuart Gorell and it was popularized by many singers. Let's welcome to Ray Charles singing live this jazzy song 'Giorgia on my mind'

🇯🇵 The group Alphaville popularized a song for Japan. Written by Marian Gold / Bernhard Lloyd / Frank Mertens let's listen to this classic song called 'Big in Japan'

🇲🇽 It's time for Mexico. The song was written by Mario Puparro.  The Mexican Diva singer and actress Thalia singing live 'Amor a la Mexicana' 

🇨🇺 The American Cuban, Gloria Estefan popularized a song for Cuba called 'Cuba Libre' written by Emilio Jr. Estefan / Flavio Enrique Santander / Gloria M. Estefan. Let's listen to her song.

🇦🇷 This song was written by Alejandro Sanchez Pizarro about Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz sings 'Llega, llego Soledad'

🇺🇲Malibu is a place at the west of Los Angeles, California, The United States of America. The song was written by Miley Cyrus and  Oren Yoel Kleinman. Miley singing 'Malibu'

🇺🇲And finally this singer wrote a song for Las Vegas, The United States of America together with Andreas Carlsson and Desmond Child. The song is called 'Waking up in Vegas' by Katy Perry
