The contest was called, 'Poetry Slam: ciudades de Estados Unidos' so, he had to choose one city of the United States of America and to create a Poem. Nicolas Sourivongxay, as a writer, already had a Christmas poetry published on his book ' Cuentos de la Nueva Generación'   therefore, he took the chance to participate on the contest however, he was denied considered by the judge as a poetry with sexual connotation.
